The work of the council is conducted by the steering committee and general council members by way of the council initiatives. Through a partnership with America's Promise Alliance, the council initiatives promote the five promises: Safe Places, Caring Adults, A Healthy Start, Effective Education and Opportunities to Help Others.


The Barnstable County Council for Children Youth and Families (BCCCYF)...


Networks with community organizations and individuals.

Collaborates to identify needs of the community.

Creates initiatives that implement appropriate resources to address identified needs on Cape Cod, Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket.

Leverages resources through grants and other funding opportunities for council initiatives.

The BCCCYF meets the second Tuesday of every month (excluding March, July & August) from 3 PM - 4:30 PM.
All meetings are open to the public.

Please join us at the Community Action Comittee of Cape Cod and the Islands(CACCI) for our next meeting.
